The referral booklet has been an invaluable resource for pediatricians of Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties. However, over time there have been changes to community resources, with the addition of some new programs and other programs no longer being available. The committee has spent much effort in reviewing the referral booklet and updating listings as appropriate. Due to continuing unexpected changes of services within programs, please contact the listing prior to referring an adolescent to ensure that adolescent appropriate services are still being offered. We have continued to try to ensure that the programs listed are suitable for adolescents. However, the committee does not endorse any particular program, nor is the guide meant to be all-inclusive.
